Announcing the call for nominations for the 2016 Comcast NBCUniversal Leadership Awards
The Comcast NBCUniversal Leadership Awards recognize outstanding City Year alumni who are continuing their commitment to strengthening community, inspiring, mobilizing, and empowering others, creating and developing sustainable solutions for social change and who exemplify the core values of City Year.
Since 1995, more than 100 alumni have been honored with a Leadership Award – City Year’s most prestigious alumni recognition. These awards honor the accomplishments of City Year alumni who continue to build stronger communities through innovative approaches to addressing critical social problems. Since 2005, Comcast NBCUniversal has recognized more than 50 City Year alumni with our highest alumni recognition – the Comcast and NBCUniversal Leadership Award. These alumni have continued to build stronger communities through innovative approaches to addressing critical social problems.
For the past 25 years, City Year alumni have been making a difference in their community both inside and outside of City Year. This year, nominations will be reviewed and selected from two categories – alumni who continue their impact through community-focused initiatives and alumni who continue to serve as a City Year staff member.
We encourage you to nominate a City Year alumnus or alumna who best exemplifies City Year ideals and its core values.
The nomination deadline is Friday, April 15, 2016 at 5:00 PM EST.
