Kirsten joined City Year as a Corporate Partnership Manager in 2000, and since then she has taken many leadership opportunities for the organization. She returned to corporate development at City Year Headquarters in 2009 and is now working at City Year Boston leading development and marketing efforts. Kirsten has successfully engaged corporations in national and multi-site corporate partnerships with National Grid, AT&T, Microsoft, Starbucks, JetBlue, among others. Prior to City Year, Kirsten worked for the Jimmy Fund as Assistant Director of the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) and has continued as a head staff volunteer, leading the finish line operations in Provincetown, MA. The PMC is an annual cycling fundraiser that raises over $35 million a year and over $350 million since 1980 to fight cancer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Kirsten graduated from University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She enjoys gardening, walking, volunteering, and spending time with her family in Gloucester.
