Before the notion existed to bring City Year NH’s entire workforce to Manchester, Alderman Dan O’Neil had a commitment to that idea. For many years Dan fought to bring City Year to serve full-time in his beloved city of Manchester. Therefore, when City Year NH was working to bring our national convention, cyzygy, to the Granite State, Dan proved to be an invaluable partner. His efforts across the board to connect us to partners and resources on the ground not only ensured the conference’s success –but also laid the relationship groundwork for so many who would become instrumental partners as we moved City Year’s operations to Manchester. It is because of Dan’s true love of the corps members and their work with students that we have the impact we are in the Queen City today.
Dan O’Neil currently serves as Alderman At-Large in the City of Manchester. He previously held the positions of Ward Alderman and State Senator, representing Southeastern Manchester.
